In the game, it’s easy to tell who’s got the virus – they’re surrounded by a fog of orange particles. If a non-infected person spends too much time in one of those clouds, they’re going to catch the disease as well. There are plenty of ways you can keep that from happening though.
For one thing you can quarantine the infected person. They’ll head back home and keep others safe. You can hand out masks as well, which slow down the progression of the virus and let people go about their business. If you run out of masks, you’ll need to make some more.
Later in the game, you’ll get new powers as well. These let you send people to the hospital if they’re too ill. You’ll also be able to enlist the help of the police, who’ll arrest anyone who breaks the rules you’ve set to keep the population safe. You impose these tiles, with a button press causing people to rush home and clear the streets.
There are 25 challenging levels to work your way through, and while the subject matter might be serious, there’s also a lot of fun to be had here. The game looks lovely too, and it’s a really great way to spend some time that’s going to keep you on your toes and teach you something as well.
Right now you can grab Viral Days from the App Store, Google Play, App Gallery, and Galaxy Store. It won’t cost you anything to pick it up, and we reckon you’re going to love it. For even more information on the game, click here to check out the official Viral Days website.
