Call of Duty‘s free multiplayer access week kicks off on December 17th. Those who haven’t purchased Black Ops: Cold War can download a number of multiplayer modes and play the game until December 24th at no cost. Included in the experience are featured playlists such as “Nuketown Holiday 24/7”, a festive reimagining of the classic Black Ops map, and “Raid the Mall”, featuring the classic Black Ops 2 map Raid and the newly introduced New Jersey mall at The Pines.

The playlists for the Black Ops: Cold War will roll out in two stages. The full playlist model looks something like this:

Free Access Week: Stage 1 – December 17th-21st

  • Team Deathmatch
  • Domination
  • 2v2 Gunfight
  • Nuketown Holiday 24/7
  • Raid the Mall

Free Access Week: Stage 2 – December 21st-24th

  • All Stage 1 Modes and Playlists
  • Prop Hunt
  • Combined Arms Hardpoint
  • Fireteam Dirty Bomb

Warzone/Cold War Double XP Week

In addition to the free access week, Cold War and Warzone continue to push their collaborative efforts. Double XP, Double Weapon XP, and Double Battle Pass Progression will also be available throughout the week. Beginning on December 18th at 10 a.m., all players can earn double XP and double weapon XP across the Multiplayer modes. The generosity continues with Double Battle Pass XP, available from December 22nd-28th starting at 10 a.m.

Note: PlayStation users will have an additional 24-hour Double XP window for their Season One player level, starting at 10 a.m. on December 17th in both Warzone and Black Ops: Cold War.
